What about at Easter services in the church?
Easter worship services take place in churches to mark the resurrection of Jesus Christ, a high point of Christianity. They are generally colourful and euphoric, beginning with an Easter Vigil or sunrise service as a mark of the arrival of the new world. At the service, the Scriptures speak of the resurrection, songs of praise are sung, and thanksgiving prayers are offered. Churches also do baptisms to signify spiritual resurrection. Communion is taken, to commemorate the Last Supper, and sometimes large congregations perform dramatic reenactments or procession. The service is an opportunity for Christians to be together, to contemplate Jesus’ death and resurrection, and to celebrate eternal life. Easter church services bring us out of the melancholy of Lenten season and into the hope of the resurrection.
